Wow, these books really do get better and better. Loved no 1, adored no 2 and gobbled it down in an afternoon. Now for no 3. I will be lost when this series ends.
Great storyline by including all of the characters and adding a new one into the mix but keeping them intertwined through real life issues.
What happens when your insecurities happen to wreck your life? Victoria "Vic" Alonzo, sexy, sassy and tenacious. When her best friend choose to be with Aaron, that leaves Max Cole, successful,handsome and sweet and is completely available and Vic is all over him like a cheap suit. Max had a brief encounter with Mia and feelings get in the way as does the eyes of jealousy and envy but they are done. And as much as max tries Vic is apprehensive and abrasive. What's happens next is tragic. Can max and Vic get pass all the hurt and misunderstandings? Or will Vic continue to push away from the man of her dreams. Bria Marche has a feel good series if you thought the the first book was fabulous,the follow-up is just as good if not better and we see what the girls are up to, the empowerment of woman, who lift each other and have their backs. Trials and tribulations. The book has you laughing and crying. This is a 5 star read.
So glad that I found this series and author. I enjoyed the further story development and appreciate the easy writing style. Now to grab a glass of merlot and find out what happens with Karen and Mario!
Loved this book! It makes you realize how being insecure can mess up your life. The author has a way of bringing you into the book so that you feel you are the main character and the "sisters" are your best friends.
I just finished the first book yesterday and couldn't wait to read this second one! It's just as good as the first....I love how this one started where the other one ended. Wonderful books!
I really enjoyed the first book. I was worried at first that they were going to dwell on the soon to be ex husband, but they did not. It kept my attention and I am looking forward to reading the third one.
